Honolulu Sushi is a family owned business established in Hawaii in 2015.
Since then we been serving Hawaiian style sushi, also known as “Hawaiian sushi” or “Hawaiian poke sushi,” which is a fusion of traditional Japanese sushi and Hawaiian flavors. It combines elements of sushi with the popular Hawaiian dish called poke (pronounced poh-kay), which traditionally consists of diced raw fish marinated in soy sauce and other seasonings.
In Hawaiian style sushi, you’ll often find a variety of fresh fish, such as tuna, salmon, or yellowtail, prepared in the form of nigiri (a small mound of rice topped with a slice of fish) or maki sushi (sushi rolls). However, instead of traditional Japanese toppings like wasabi and soy sauce, Hawaiian style sushi is typically accompanied by unique sauces and garnishes that add a distinctly Hawaiian touch.
Hawaiian style sushi has gained popularity both in Hawaii and in other parts of the world, offering sushi enthusiasts a taste of the islands with a Hawaiian twist.
